I have applied for PF transfer from my old company (HR/5572/ 0000113019) to my new (PY/BOM/46998/1657)
I also received the Annexure K from my previous employer.
As per them they have provided cheque no:584187 dt:20/01/2014 for an amount Rs.104723
and it is encashed on 07.03.2014
When i check the PF balance online, it does not show this amount in my current PF account. Kindly help. All my calls to Bommasandra calls are in vain, as nobody is helping me out to find out the way to track this.
Its been very long since i am trying to find where the money is.

You are only talking about EPF amount but what about EPS? Have you submitted Form-13 from your new employer or via OTCP? Because without it pF cheque hs been credited to RPFC but not in your account. You can always visit PF Office Bommasandra.

As i mentioned above, my previous employer provided me the Annexure K and provided me the cheque details and encashed date.
Your last employer has PF Trust so they transfer your PF To RPFC. But your current PF account will credit when you would submit Form-13 to RPFC.

I changed my employer recently that is Jun 11th 2015. I got the PF account number from my current employer and now it is linked with my UAN number.
I am yet to initiate PF transfer request.
But few days back on Aug 21st, I received an SMS from EPF saying transfer form 13 has been submitted. And on Aug 25th I got another SMS saying the transfer claim has been approved for payment through cheque.
Below are my Old PF account details:

I checked with my current employer, he has not raised the transfer request.
Can you please let me know, if it is possible to know who has raised this transfer request?

Also, what should be the next steps? Can I initiate transfer now? And how to stop the current transfer claim?

It is because your both accounts are linked to UAN.

So there shouldn’t be any problem in name. Just wait for few days and after this transfer is completed You should download this app EPF Balance UAN e-Sewa and get your UAN Registered.

But I contacted my previous employer, they say until they receive the hardcopy of Form13, they will not process the PF transfer.(Since it is a PF trust). I am unable to generate the Form13 online due to the automatic transfer request generated. I am not able to see this transfer request, even if I login to OTCP.

My name is Sharath Kumar M N. Post logging into my UAN account I realized that my name registered with the PF body is incomplete. To have my name rectified, I have submitted the duly filled form through my employer Wipro Ltd around 15-Jun-2015 along with a copy of my PAN card. I do not see the corrected name reflecting on my UAN account portal. Could you please let me know if I need to provide any further details for the name correction? If not, could you please me know when can I expect to see the corrected name on the UAN portal for my PF account?

Hi Sharath, name correction is not centralized. It is done by respective EPF Office so you have to check with them only.
My old epf a/c no. is KN/BN/34282/69 for the period of April 2007 to August 2013. Kindly give me the new a/c no. for settlement.

Appreciate your prompt response.Its really strange to learned that you couldn’t find the record. I submitted the withdrawal form at Infosys on 22nd of May after few months I left the organization.I am not sure what Infosys PF admin have done on my claim form. So could you please suggest me what should I do to withdraw my PF.
Ask your ex-employer about submission. Nothing is strange. Sometimes members start inquiring about claims the same day they deposit forms with their employer. See one such classic example. So better you confirm with them once and ask for acknowledgement.
The form was dully signed and submitted to Infosys on 22nd May, however when I call up today, and said they have submitted the form to PF office by yesterday only and inform not to reject my form…what a funny. So one query, once the PF is submitted to PF office how long does it takes to credit the amount ?.

Yes, rule is that you have to transfer your funds not withdraw. However, in need of money you can take loan from your PF.

Hi! First of all, how can I confirm anything without your PF number? Secondly, PF Account is not a bank account which is updated on per transaction or daily basis. It is updated after closure of current financial year. For more details please visit concerned RPFC and get a copy of your Annexure-K.

Hi Anu – Is form 2 submitted for name change in the ex-employer records?
Form 2 is actually nomination form having all personal details of employee too. It is filled at the time of joining the organisation. Employer can send revise Form 2 duly attested.
Name correction process is- Make a joint request (Employer + Employee) for the said change along with a document confirming the change (PAN, Passport etc) duly attested by the employer and the member. The letter from the employer should have company’s letter head. Submit them to the PF office.

In case two UAN are allotted to you, this could be because of not filing of Date of Exit by your previous employer in ECR filing and/or you have applied for transfer of service in your current establishment. In such a case, you are suggested to immediately report the matter either to your employer or through email to uanepf@epfindia.gov.in by mentioning your current and previous UANs. After due verification the previous UAN allotted to you will be blocked and Current UAN will be active. Later you will be required to submit your Claim to get transfer of service and fund to new UAN.

Perhaps, Under the EPS scheme, I want to retain in the EPS scheme as my old identity, but in my new passbook post transfer it shows the EPS started again with 0 and not carry forwarded the EPS from old establishment. EPS component of previous is invisible to me now, I do not wish to withdraw it but just to transfer in my new EPS where it began with aryabhatta’s zero

Hello! For transferring of accounts you have to submit Form-13 through your current employer. First get the confirmation that the PF amount got transferred. If yes then probably your EPS account got transferred too. In EPS transfer only the service period is transferred, not the amount. This is because Pension calculation is only based on years/period of service. You can ask for Annexure K from the PF office related to your old company and see if the actual service reflects your period of service in the old company.
