This is my biggest concern that how do i correct my name. which is misspelled. should i make a affidavit or approach to my previous company to make it correct? what name should i write on PF form ? is it adhar card name or name which is mentioned on my pf record or name which is in my bank a/c.

UAN is not necessary to withdraw. If your name is mismatched than you have to get it corrected first. Father’s Name should also be there.

First of all you didn’t need to activate UAN for so old account for which you want to withdraw. Just Submit relevant Claim Forms duly attested by your ex-employer.

In what mode did you requested to close your PF Account? Kindly be specific! Because you don’t have to request any body for closure. It is automatically closed once you leave your job. Also closure of PF account doesn’t mean you will get withdrawal automatically.
